Le Mars residents will go to the polls on Tuesday, December 2nd for a special run-off election to decide the mayor’s race and an at-large seat on the Le Mars City Council, and KLEM invites you to join us at 10:30am today for our “Decision 2025” candidate forum. The forum will air live over the air on KLEM and on our YouTube page.
Moderated by Le Mars Community High School teacher Michael Bahr, the forum will be in a question and answer cross-talk format, according to KLEM Station Manager Nick Gengler.
All four candidates in December’s run-off election will participate in the forum. The first half-hour will feature candidates in the city council at-large race, and the second half-hour will feature candidates in the mayoral race. Listeners are able to interact with the forum by submitting questions for the candidates to answer.
Questions asked will have responses from the candidates, with rebuttal responses allowed. Each candidate will also give an opening and closing statement.
