Charles Kruse, 86, of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Accura Healthcare of Le Mars.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 22, 2025, at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church – Preston Township, rural Akron, Iowa. Reverend Paige McGrath will officiate. Burial with military honors provided by the Heeren-McHale-Wilkens American Legion Post 724 of Brunsville will be in the church cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. There will be a Prayer Service at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will resume from 9:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. on Monday at the church. Arrangements are with the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars.
