Primary elections for local, state, and national offices will be held in Iowa next Tuesday, June 2nd, and in Plymouth County, the only contested local primary election is in District 4 of the Board of Supervisors. KLEM is continuing our profiles of local candidates this week with Craig Anderson, the incumbent Supervisor in District 4.
Anderson has farmed in Plymouth County since 1977, having previously running a cattle feed lot up until five years ago, and has been a lifetime member of Plymouth County Cattlemen’s Association and previously a member of the Sioux City Museum board. Anderson says he’s running for another term to continue supporting his community.
Anderson says he’d like to continue being a member of a “good group” currently on the Board.
Anderson says he takes a lot of pride in being able to help the community.
Anderson will run in the Republican primary for District 4 against challenger Randy Kroksh. Kroksh’s interview will air on KLEM tomorrow.
