A Le Mars Hy-Vee employee was honored yesterday with her face placed on the side of the company’s semi-trailers. Shannon Groepper is a 2025 recipient of the Hy-Vee Legendary Customer Service Award, and yesterday, store leadership unveiled the semi-trailer to Groepper for the first time during a ceremony outside the Le Mars Hy-Vee. Groepper says it was a great honor to see herself on the side of the trailer.

Groepper, the floral department manager, has worked at the Le Mars Hy-Vee for nearly 14 years, and says there’s always something new happening every day at work.

Groepper’s co-workers and family members were on hand to see the unveiling in the parking lot of the Hy-Vee. Alongside the semi-trailer, Groepper received a miniature semi-truck toy with the same wrapping as on the trailer.

Hy-Vee first started featuring long-serving employees on semi-truck wraps in 1997. Groepper was one of 13 Hy-Vee employees to receive the Legendary Customer Service Award in 2025.
