Knights of Columbus Phone-A-Thon eyeballs $2 million milestone
The Life Skills/Knights of Columbus Phone-A-thon will take place on Wednesday, September 9th, at the Le Mars Knights of Columbus Hall. A preparation prayer will take place at 8 a.m. with coffee and donuts served at 10:30 a.m.
Libby Peters, the Interim Executive Director and Business Manager at the Life Skills Training Center, spoke on the importance of the event, now in its 46th year.
Peters also mentioned the Phone-A-Thon is close to a lifetime $2 million milestone, which helps fund the Life Skills Training Center.
Peters emphasized the importance of chair people, past and present.
The Phone-A-Thon will start making calls at 9 a.m.
