Le Mars Community Schools elementary building construction update
At the most recent Le Mars Community Schools Board of Education meeting, Superintendent Dr. Steve Webner provided updates on the Elementary School construction project.
While rain has hindered construction efforts in the last month or so, the project is still on schedule to be finished by the start of the 2028 school year.
Recently, Dr. Webner saw a draft of a “history wall” that would honor past elementary schools, which he said was “very exciting.”
Board of Education members are planning to do a “walk-around” of the site before winter. For a full list of updates and project timelines, visit lemarscsd.org and click on the “New Elementary School Construction Progress” link on the home page.
