School Resource Officer John Vickery returns

Senior Officer John Vickery of the Le Mars Police Department is back for another year in the Le Mars Schools as School Resource Officer.

He rotates his time between all the school buildings at both Le Mars Community and Gehlen Catholic.

Officer Vickery also teaches a number of topics from school safety to drugs and alcohol.

He is returning for his eighth year as School Resource Officer.

Officer Vickery says he’s excited to make connections again this year while helping to keep children safe.
