Kenneth Rodney Borchers of Sedan, Kansas, formerly of rural Akron, Iowa passed away Sunday, January 2nd, 2011 at his home near Sedan at age 78. Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2010 at St. John Lutheran Church, Preston Township, rural Akron, Iowa with Reverend Sarah Nye officiating. Inurnment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Arrangements are with Carlsen Funeral Home of Le Mars.
