Brad F. Thiel, age 50, of Cedar Rapids and formerly of Remsen, Iowa passed away peacefully on Friday, Jan. 24, 2025 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Remsen, IA with Rev. Timothy Pick officiating and Deacon Doug Heeren assisting. Private family burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Remsen on Wednesday. Visitation with family present will be 4-6 p.m. on Monday, there will be a vigil prayer service at 5 p.m. all at Fisch Funeral Home & Monument in Remsen.
