Vice President Candidate Mike Pence Speaks In Sioux City

(Sioux City) — Republican vice presidential candidate and Indiana Governor Mike
Pence made a campaign stop in Sioux City yesterday afternoon. Pence spoke before
about 400 supporters at the Sioux City Convention Center. Pence talked about the
economic agenda that he and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump unveiled
in Detroit on Monday morning. It includes simplifying and overhauling the federal
tax code.

That plan also includes lowering the corporate tax rate.

The Trump and Pence tax plan would also include a roll-back of federal regulations,
especially recent environmental decisions made by the E-P-A and the Obama
administration.

Pence says he and Trump will also push for the Keystone XL pipeline to be built and
have an all inclusive energy policy.

Pence served six terms in the U-S House of Representatives. He’s been governor of
Indiana since early 2013 and withdrew his bid for re-election as governor when he
became Trump’s running mate. Pence also made a campaign stop at Council Bluffs.
