John J. Emge, 79, of Kingsley, Iowa passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Kingsley, Iowa. Father Brad Pelzel and Father Thomas Topf will celebrate Mass. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Salix, Iowa. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday August 29, 2017 at the Johnson – Earnest Funeral Home in Kingsley. There will be a Rosary Service at 6:00 p.m., the family will be present from 5-7 p.m. and a Scriptural Prayer Service will begin at 7:00 p.m. There will also be an hour of visitation at the church prior to Mass on Wednesday.
