Helen Niehus, 80, of Le Mars passed away on Friday July 2, 2010 at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars, following a brief illness. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday July 6, 2010 at St. James Catholic Church in Le Mars. Burial will be in Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Merrill. Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. on Monday at the Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars, where there will be a Parish rosary at 4:00 p.m. and a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation prior to the funeral at the Church on Tuesday.
