Jay Even, 84, of Alton, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at his residence. There will be a funeral service on Friday, September 10, at 10:30am, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Alton. The Rev. Father Paul Eisele and Monsignor Nicholas Ruba will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00pm on Thursday, with a rosary at 5:30pm, a vigil service at 7:30pm, and the family present from 5:00pm to 6:00pm and 7:00pm to 8:30pm, at the church.
