(LE MARS)–A Le Mars teen is hospitalized in Sioux Falls after an all-terrain vehicle accident south of Le Mars Saturday night.

Plymouth County Sheriff Mike Van Otterloo says the operator of the A-T-V was 11-year-old Hannah Kliever, the daughter of Ronald and Jolene Kliever.

Kliever was operating the A-T-V in a corn stubble field two miles south of Le Mars on Lake Avenue. The sheriff’s office report stated Kliever lost control which caused the A-T-V to flip. The vehicle came to rest on top of Kliever and a passenger, Sophie Fedders, the daughter of Matt and Julie Fedders of Le Mars.

Fedders was not injured.

The sheriff’s office went to the accident at 7:35 p.m. Saturday.
