LaVonne Kommes of Le Mars is the KLEM “Citizen of the Day” for Monday, March 21, 2011. LaVonne is a daycare provider for some of her grandchildren and volunteers two morning a week at Franklin Elementary in the kindergarten room. LaVonne is celebrating her 75th birthday today. LaVonne may pick up a carnation from the Le Mars Flower House, pizza from Pizza Hut in Le Mars and a car wash from Easy Clean Car Wash in Le Mars.
