Rudy D. Adler, 95, longtime businessman and former mayor of LeMars passed away on Monday, September 5, 2011 at the Brentwood Good Samaritan Village in LeMars. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 9, 2011 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in LeMars. Rev. Greg Gabriel will officiate. Private family burial will take place prior to the service at Memorial Cemetery in LeMars. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars. The family will be present from 5-8 p.m. with a prayer service scheduled for 7:00 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the service on Friday.
