(Sibley) — A Sibley man died from injuries he received when trapped in a trench and pinned by his back-hoe tractor. 39 year old, John Hibna was working in a trench and became pinned underneath the backhoe. A 9-1-1 call was received at about 1:30 Friday afternoon. Hibna was transported to the Osceola Community Hospital where he later died from his injuries. Osceloa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating that accident.
