Katherine “Sis” Varenhorst, 96, of Le Mars, Iowa passed away Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars. Her funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, E.L.C.A. with Reverend Greg Gabriel officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Cemetery in Le Mars. Visitation with the family present will be after 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at the Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars with a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
