Vera Ross, 95, of Akron, Iowa passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 at the Akron Care Center in Akron. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2013 at the Westfield Congregational United Church of Christ in Westfield. Pastor Barry Miedema will officiate. Burial will follow in the Westfield Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2013 with the family present after 5:00 p.m., and a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m., all at the Carlsen Funeral Home – Schroeder Chapel in Akron.
