(Remsen) — Students of the Remsen-Union school district were dismissed from school at 9:30 a.m. Monday morning after administration officials received a bomb threat. Remsen-Union school superintendent Ken Howard says all the students and staff were moved to a safe location, while law enforcement officials checked the premises. As of 11:00 a.m. officials were still conducting a search of the school premises. Howard says the students and faculty evacuated the school in an orderly manner.
