John Ziniel, 77, of Akron, Iowa passed away Sunday, December 29, 2013 at the Hillcrest Health Care Center in Hawarden, Iowa. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 3, 2014 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Reverend Doug Klein and Deacon Richard Port officiating. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation with the family present will be after 5:00 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2014 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church followed by a 7:00 p.m. Scriptural Wake Service and a 7:30 p.m. Rosary by the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
