(Le Mars) — Sunday’s temperatures reached 65 in Le Mars causing much of the snow to melt, and giving people some optimism that spring may be close at hand. Many people were seen walking, riding bicycles and motorcycles, and just enjoying one of the first comfortable days after a long cold winter. Mark Loutsch, a Plymouth County sheep producer, has his flock of ewes giving birth to lambs. Several young lambs were seen at his farm jumping and playing and enjoying the warmer temperatures.
