Eric J. “Rick” Bishop, 52, of Le Mars, Iowa, passed into eternal life on March 18, 2014 surrounded by his loving wife, parents and children following a very courageous 10 month battle that he lost to a glioblastoma brain tumor. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Le Mars. Father Kevin Richter will celebrate Mass. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 21, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with a Scriptural Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to Mass on Saturday.
