Raymond Hoops, 94, of Hawarden, Iowa, formerly of rural Ireton, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at the Good Samaritan Society of Le Mars.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Akron, Iowa. Pastor Trish Underberg from St. John Lutheran Church – Preston Township, rural Akron, Iowa, will officiate. Burial with military honors provided by the Heeren-McHale-Wilkens American Legion Post 724 of Brunsville will be at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in Akron. Visitation with the family present will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home and following the services during a time of lunch and fellowship at the funeral home.
