Dick Seivert of Le Mars is the KLEM Citizen of the Day for May 6, 2014. Dick is a retired 7th through 12th grade guidance counselor from Gehlen Catholic and is director of Mission Honduras, Mission Honduras of Le Mars and Then Feed Just One. Since 2002 he have been working in the second poorest country in the western hemisphere in the areas of health care and medicine, water projects, housing, and supplemental food programs. His efforts began in Le Mars and have expanded throughout Iowa and the United States. He may pick up a boutonniere from the Le Mars Flower House, pizza from Pizza Hut in Le Mars and car wash from Easy Clean car wash.
