Lawrence Blackmore, 89, of Hinton, Iowa passed away suddenly Sunday, May 18, 2014. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Merrill, Iowa with Pastor Burt Burwell, A.i.M. officiating. Interment with military honors provided by the Casper American Legion Post 477 of Hinton at the Hillside Cemetery in Merrill, Iowa. Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars with a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service all at the funeral home.
