(Le Mars) — After last weekend’s heavy rains, strong winds, and in some cases hail, many farmers are wondering whether they should re-plant or hope the damaged crops can survive, knowing either option will mean a reduction of yield potential. Iowa State University extension crops specialist Joel DeJong says a meeting is being organized today near Sioux Center to assist farmers with such decisions.
