Joining Fitness Clubs Is A Common New Year’s Resolution

(Le Mars) — This time of year many people set new year’s resolutions, and for many, that may mean reducing weight or joining a fitness club.  Todd Lancaster is the executive director for the Le Mars YMCA and Community Wellness Center.  He says the Y typically sees an increase of membership in December and January.

The YMCA offers several different services, and Lancaster says it depends on the age of the member as to what activity is preferred during the winter months.
