It’s Your Turn to Hit the Stage!

(Le Mars)–With an emphasis on “community” the Le Mars Community Theater is kicking off it’s 2015 season with the comedy “Boeing, Boeing” by Marc Camoletti.  Auditions for the show will take this coming Monday and Tuesday nights, January 12th and 13th starting at 7pm at the LCT Postal Playhouse.  Why the emphasis on “community”?  Because without new faces on stage and behind the scenes, community theater just wouldn’t be possible.  Director Larry Brangwin tells us a little bit about the plot of the upcoming LCT show.

That’s right, 3 fiances, all airline hostesses, one is Italian, one German, and the other American.  At any given time the pilot, Bernard hosts these lovely ladies for “layovers” in his Parisian home, until unexpected schedule changes bring all three to Paris and his apartment at the same time. Brangwin explains the characters involved in these comedic farce.

You can imagine how silly the situation becomes.  Throw in a maid whose trying to hide each hostess from the other, and the cast is complete. If you’re interested in getting involved on the Le Mars Community Theater for the March performances of “Boeing, Boeing” auditions are being held Monday, January 12th and Tuesday the 13th from 7-8:30 at the Postal Playhouse.
