Gordon Foley, 84, of Akron, Iowa passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at the Akron Care Center in Akron.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church – Ellendale, rural Merrill, Iowa. Monsignor Mark Duchaine will celebrate mass. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery – Ellendale with military honors provided by the Hoschler American Legion Post #186 of Akron. Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2015, with the family present after 5:00 p.m., and Scriptural Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m., all at Carlsen Funeral Home – Schroeder Chapel in Akron.
