(Le Mars) — Life Skills Training Center was able to set a new record with the annual quilt auction that was held on Saturday during the Plymouth County Fair. Shelly Thompson serves as the Marketing and Development Manager for Life Skills.
New this year was the selling of barn quilts that represented Gehlen Catholic and Le Mars Community, as well as universities. Thompson says, most of the university barn quilts sold well.
Life Skills also held the cow chip bingo contest during the fair, and Thompson says the winner was known within a few minutes.
