Life Skills Raffle Quilt Drawing

(Le Mars) — During Wednesday’s Chamber coffee held at Primebank in Le Mars, a drawing was held for a handmade quilt, constructed by Ginny Freyermuth of Le Mars.  Proceeds of the quilt raffle are going to help the Lifeskills Training Center.  Since September, people had the chance to purchase raffle tickets for the quilt, entitled “String of Lights”.  Freyermuth didn’t care to speculate as to how many stitches, and how many hours were devoted to the making of the quilt.  Kathy Stelzer of Le Mars had purchased several raffle tickets and placing the names of her children on the tickets.  Winning the colorful quilt was Marie Stelzer.

Several people attended the chamber coffee and quilt drawing, including Le Mars city council member Steve Wick, who could be confused as the “Chamber’s Elf on the Shelf”.
