Brenda (Ludwigs) Sjovall, 42, of Beresford, South Dakota, formerly of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 after a 3 ½ year battle with cancer. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 23, 2017 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Beresford. Rev. Greg Myrmoe will officiate. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Le Mars. Visitation will begin on Sunday, January 22 at 2 p.m. with the family present from 4-8 and a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. There will also be one hour of visitation at the church prior to the service on Monday. The Mauer – Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars is assisting Brenda’s family with funeral arrangements.
