(Le Mars) — Today, March 2nd, is the birthday of author Theodor Geisel, or perhaps better known as Dr. Seuss. To help call attention to the author’s great children books such as “The Cat in the Hat”, “One Fish, Two Fish” and “Green Eggs
and Ham”, plus many others, several students and faculty at the Le Mars Community Clark Elementary School decided to dress alike on Thursday for “Twin Day”. “Twin Day” recognizes the cohorts of The Cat in the Hat known as “Thing 1” and
“Thing 2”. All week long the school is recognizing the contributions of Dr. Seuss, and have dressed in green for “Green Eggs and Ham” and some have even donned the famous red and white striped hat familiar with “The Cat in the Hat”.
