Caden Schram And Mckenna Henrich Crowned Fair Royalty

(Le Mars) — The crowning of the Plymouth County Fair King and Queen was held Wednesday evening. This year had an overwhelming number of candidates with 12 contestants seeking the position of king, and 26 women vying for the queen title. KLEM’s Dave Grosenheider again served as the ceremonies emcee. First, was the selection of the fair’s king and two prince positions.

The selection of “Mr. Personality” was awarded to Cale Moffit, and Samuel Bowen and Jacob Spencer were chosen as the Plymouth County Fair Princes.

Next up was the selection of the Plymouth County Fair Queen and her royal court. The title of “Miss Congeniality” would be announced first.

The moment had finally arrived as to the announcement of the 2021 Plymouth County Fair Queen. 26 women were dressed in formal gowns, each having their fingers crossed, hoping they would hear their name be announced as the next fair queen. The envelope was opened and Emcee Dave Grosenheider echoed the name after the last queen Kara Albrecht made the anticipated announcement.

McKenna Henrich would soon find herself holding on to several trophies, floral bouquets, and crowns, after winning both the title of “Miss Congeniality” and the title of the Plymouth County Fair Queen.  Henrich was presented a necklace by Bricker’s Jewelry. Both the king and the queen were presented sunglasses from Groetken Eye Care of Le Mars.
