Valerie Rand, aged 92, long time restaurateur, passed away after a brief illness Wednesday, August 17, 2022, surrounded by her family at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. A Celebration of Life service will take place at 11:00 am on Monday October 31, 2022 at Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. Pastor Matt Wentz of Le Mars will officiate. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home with the family present at 5:00 pm and a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm.
