Plymouth County Well-Represented on IHSBCA All-State Teams

The Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association recognized many area athletes with all-state recognition in their postseason honors. Remsen St. Mary’s put five on the first team list in Class 1A. It is the first time they have had five all-staters in one season. Jaxon Bunkers earned his third all-state honor becoming the sixth player in RSM history to achieve that. Class 1A First Team:

Pitcher: Collin Homan (So.) – Remsen St. Mary’s
Catcher: Landon Waldschmitt (So.) – Remsen St. Mary’s
Second Baseman: Alex Schroder (Sr.) – Remsen St. Mary’s
Shortstop: Jaxon Bunkers (Sr.) – Remsen St. Mary’s
Third Baseman: Cael Ortmann (Sr.) – Remsen St. Mary’s
Utility: Boston Doeschot (Sr.) – Kingsley-Pierson

Class 1A Second Team:

Catcher: Keaton Logan (Sr.) – Gehlen Catholic
Outfielder: Emerson Pratt (Sr.) – Kingsley-Pierson

Class 1A Third Team:

Pitcher: Ashton McCully (Jr.) – Akron-Westfield

Class 3A First Team:

First Baseman: Ayden Hoag (Jr.) – Le Mars
