Donald “Don” Lake, 96, of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away Friday, August 18, 2023, at Whispering Creek Assisted Living in Sioux City, Iowa. Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 8, 2023, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Le Mars. Reverend Christian Meier will officiate. Military honors will be provided by the Wasmer American Legion Post 241 of Le Mars. Private family interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Merrill, Iowa. Visitation with the family present will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Friday, September 8, 2023, and following the service during a time of lunch fellowship, all at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Le Mars.
