A new club at Le Mars Community High School is in the process of being started. “Interact Club” is a student organization that aims to bring students together to develop leadership skills along with being involved in their community. The club will be sponsored and assisted by The Rotary Club of Le Mars. Inside the school, the club is being sponsored by Mrs. Molly Boeve.
One of the club’s main founders, Isabel Crosgrove, is a senior at LCHS. She explains what the mission of the club is.
Crosgrove says once the club gets enough members and is up and running, they will be continuing to partner with the Rotary.
Over time, Crosgrove says the club plans to recruit younger members of the community.
Crosgrove and Boeve say they hope to have the club up and running soon.
