Jones Announced as December Hot Shot
Alexis Jones, 10 year old daughter of Travis and Nichole Jones and Mikaela Pauley, has been named the December 31st Hot Shot. Alexis is a diehard Muskies fan.
Alexis was diagnosed with a rare disease affecting her adrenal gland after seeking treatment in the emergency department for a life-threatening hypoglycemic seizure. Her Floyd Valley pediatrician, Dr. Jolene Meis, and her endocrinologist work together to help Alexis and her family manage her complex diagnoses.

The Sioux City Musketeers, in partnership with Floyd Valley Healthcare (FVH) began the Hot Shots program in 2018. This program was created with the goal of honoring FVH pediatric patients who have chronic health issues. They say they are excited to give children an opportunity to have a fun time with their family, cheer on the team and just enjoy being a kid for a night.
