The Iowa Print Sportswriters Association has released its All-State boys basketball teams following the conclusion of the 2023-24 season.
Plymouth County had one athlete listed on the All-State teams with Remsen St. Mary’s junior forward Collin Homan earning First Team All-State selection in Class 1A. Homan led the Hawks in points (362), rebounds (177), blocks (20), and field goal percentage (56.1%). Homan and the Hawks went 19-4 this season losing in the substate final to a Lake Mills team who finished the season as state semifinalists.
MOC-Floyd Valley senior forward Jesse Van Kalsbeek was named Mr. Basketball in Iowa for the 2024 season.
