The Iowa Girls Coaches Association has released their 2024 All-State softball teams following the conclusion of the season. With plenty of strong softball talent in Plymouth County, our area schools earned nine All-State honors. They are listed below.
Class 1A First Team All-State:

Class 1A Second Team All-State:
Makenzie Hughes (Jr.) – Akron-Westfield
Marina Cronin (Sr.) – Remsen St. Mary’s
Class 1A Third Team All-State:
Halle Galles (Sr.) – Remsen St. Mary’s
Class 1A Honorable Mention All-State:
Larissa Pohlen (Sr.) – Gehlen Catholic
Claire Schroeder (Sr.) – Remsen St. Mary’s
