2025 Le Mars Chamber of Commerce January Employee of the Month
Rick Harms, who recently retired after 44 years of service with Kemps, Dean Foods and Wells Dairy, is this month’s Le Mars Area Chamber of Commerce Employee of the Month.
He began his career at Wells in 1980 while in high school. After graduation, he worked full-time, and was promoted to a lead man. He trained many of the new employees coming into the cooler. He most recently worked in the cheese vat room, making cottage cheese curd.
Harms received the Culture of Excellence Achiever Award in 2023, for going hte extra mile to achieve excellent results. His supervisor describes him ad dedicated, loyal, and consistent every day.
Sharing in his retirement are his wife Sherri and their two daughters, Toni and Halely, Toni’s husband Aaron, and grandson Noah
