Republicans Respond To President Trump’s Inauguration Address

With those words, Donald J. Trump becomes the 45th president of the United States of America. In his inauguration address, President Trump continued with his campaign theme of Making America Great Again.

State Representative Chuck Holz of Le Mars and State Senator Bill Anderson of Pierson, both Republicans, said they enjoyed the inauguration address delivered by President Trump.

Plymouth County Board of Supervisors chairman, and County Republican chair, Don Kass says he appreciated the fact that President Trump referred to others, rather than to himself.

Kass says former president Obama when he would speak, would always refer to himself, as opposed to others.

Jim Anderson of Le Mars is an active member of the Plymouth County Democratic party. He says he thought President Trump’s address sounded like a campaign speech, and he was disappointed with the new president’s message.
