1A STATE SINGLES & DOUBLE TOURNAMENT AT WATERLOO
SINGLES: Le Mars’ Jake Malik won his semifinal match 6-2, 6-1 over Jack Thompson of Davenport Assumption. Malik meets Nate Meister of Marion for the 1A State Singles championship this afternoon at 1:30.
DOUBLES: Le Mars’ Kyle Marek & Jake Thompson lost their semifinal match 5-7, 7-6(7-4), 2-6 to Luke Willis & RyanWillis of Waverly-Shell Rock. Marek & Thompson will play for third place at 1:30.
