(Le Mars) — The woman accused of killing her husband was originally scheduled to appear in Plymouth County District Court this morning for her preliminary hearing. However, the court has granted a continuance for 33-year old Becky Hebert who was arrested and charged with 2nd degree murder following an incident that happened on October 6. Hebert is accused of shooting Jeremy Hebert, who died as a result of a shotgun wound to the chest and abdomen. The new preliminary hearing has now been scheduled for Monday, November 13th.
