(Le Mars) — Later this evening, the Gehlen Catholic Lady Jays Volleyball team will step on the volleyball court in Cedar Rapids for their tenth appearance at the Iowa Girls State Volleyball Tournament. A send-off ceremony was held Monday at the Marvin Langel Memorial Gymnasium. Each of the girls were presented with a volleyball, compliments of the Iowa Farm Bureau, title sponsor of the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union. The #3 ranked Lady Jays will face a familiar foe with #7 rated Tripoli.
