Robert Thiel, 72 of Remsen, IA, died Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Veterans Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Remsen with Rev. William McCarthy officiating and Deacon Rick Roder assisting. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Remsen. Military Honors will be conducted by American legion Post 220 and V.F.W. Post 3328 of Remsen. Visitation will be anytime after 4 p.m. on Monday, April 7, 2014.
