Leonard Welch, 54, of Akron, Iowa passed away Monday, February 23, 2015 at Hillcrest Health Care Center in Hawarden, Iowa following a courageous battle with liver cancer.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Carlsen Funeral Home – Schroeder Chapel in Akron. Deacon Richard Port from St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Akron will officiate. Military honors will be conducted by the Hoschler American Legion Post 186 of Akron. Visitation with the family present will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at the funeral home.
