MONDAY RESULTS – March 16

(indoor track)

(G/B) War Eagle Conference meet at Dordt College in Sioux Center

(girls results) Gehlen’s Morgan Whitehead won the 55-meter hurdles in a time of :09.6.  Abby Dickman was fourth in the 1500 in a time of 5:51 and the Lady Jays’ 4X200 relay team of Kayla Meyer, Brooke Harpenau, Jill Kessenich and Morgan Whitehead finished fourth in a time of 2:01.

(boys results) (no places were recorded for the Gehlen boys)  Matt Holzman ran a :25.90 in the 200  ..  Ryan Stoll and Chandler Willett each record a time of :07.29 in the 55-meter dash  ..  Ryley Price ran a :08.61 in the 55-meter hurdles  ..  Alec Langel ran a 2:21.67 in the 800  .. Brayton Thoms-Wilson, Ryan Stoll, Matt Holzman and Lucas Hunt ran a :48.73 in the 4X200 ..  and Alec Langel, Izaac Herbst, Xavier Roberts and Matt Holzman ran 4:01.23 in the 4X400 relay.

Hinton won seven events:  Logan Jugensmeier won the shot with a toss of 45’1″  ..  Blake Vande Hoef won the high jump at 6’4″  ..  Josh Conley won the 55-meter hurdles in a time of :08.3 and the 200 hurdles in a time of :28.16  ..  Blake Mossberg won the 55-meter dash ina time of :06.86  ..  Eric Brown, Terrill Henrich, Colten Schau and Blake Mossberg won the 4X200 in a time of 1:39.08  ..  and Eric Brown, Josh Conley, Terrill Henrich and Blake Mossberg ran a 3:56.5 to win the 4X400 relay.

(girls results) Marcus/Meriden-Cleghorn’s Aspen Woodall finished 2nd in the 500 in a time of 1:24.32.

(boys results) Le Mars’ Mason Wichers tied for 2nd in the High Jump at 5’8″  ..  Le Mars’ Beau Ohm was 2nd in the 60-meter hurdles in a time of :09.07  ..  Le Mars took 2nd in the 4X200 Relay in a time of 1:37.54  ..  and the Le Mars’ 4X400 Relay team of Collin Nemmers, Silas Buss, Tyler Pauley and Mason Wichers finished 1st in a time of 3:42.60.

(girls results) Katelyn Gebel of KP/WC tied for 2nd in the High Jump at 4’8″  ..  Kiana Phelps of KP/WC won the Shot at 44’6.5″  ..  KP/WC’s Suzanne Putze finished 2nd in the 1500 in a time of 5:18.01  ..  KP/WC’s Halle Still finished 2nd in the 800 in a time of 2:38.63  ..  KP/WC’s Lilly Peschau finished 3rd in the 200 in a time of :28.40  ..  Kingsley-Pierson/Woodbury Central won the 4X800 Relay  with Suzanne Putze, Halle Still, Rylee Wright and KayLynne Bechen running a time of 10:29.90  .. and the Kingsley-Pierson/Woodbury Central 4X200 Relay team took third in a time of 1:59.64.
